I’m best known for my creative work designing dolls that have delighted fans of all ages for the past 26 years. My childhood fascination with fashion dolls became a passionate collecting hobby in my teens, which ultimately lead the road to Mattel Toys designing for the Barbie brand. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to help shape some of the most iconic Barbie dolls from the 2000s and beyond.
I enjoy working with other creatives in a collaborative culture. I love to bring new and innovative designs to market for both children and adults alike. I have great experience in feature product, fashion design, and licensor relationships.
I’ve worked with global brands, fashion designers, celebrities, and major film studios to create dolls that celebrate fashion and pop culture. My deep knowledge of Barbie and fashion dolls led to the role as the official Barbie Brand Historian. I’ve contributed as a historical creative consultant on The Barbie Movie and appeared in The Toys That Made Us (Netflix), Black Barbie (Shondaland), and the Bob Mackie documentary Naked Illusion.
Outside of work, I stay connected with the doll community through conventions, doll shows, and social media.
